Job Description

Delivery Associate – Box Truck Driver -  Furniture assembly skills and proficiency with tools are a plus. (Starting Pay $23.50/hr+), Irvine, CA

Non-CDL Box Truck Driver (NOT a Van Position)

Experienced Box Truck Delivery Driver (16–26 ft Required)

Shifts:  Starts 7:15 AM

Location:  14100 Alton Parkway, Irvine CA 92618

Delivery Driver Benefits & Scheduling:

• $23.50/hr  (paid Biweekly)
• 8-10 hour shifts
• Full-Time position is available (4 to 5 days a week)

• Paid time off begins accruing immediately at the start of employment

Delivery Driver Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Safely operate large delivery vehicles.
• Provide excellent customer service and interact with customers and the public in a professional and positive manner.
• Use a handheld device for routing and customer delivery information.
• Deliver packages to houses, mobile parks, apartments, and businesses.
• Review orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete and the customer is satisfied.
• Adhere to assigned routes and follow time schedules.
• Abide by all transportation laws, maintain a safe driving record, and follow safety standards on and off the road.
• Must be comfortable driving and working in varying weather conditions.
• Support the team in daily work requirements, including participation in rescue calls when other team members need assistance with their routes
• We provide vehicles, gas, uniforms, and handheld devices.
• Need to deliver 60–90 packages per day weighing upto 200 lbs, Team Lift, with assistance from Driver Helper

Qualifications

• Must be at least 25  years old
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Must pass a 5-Panel Drug Screening
• Must have a clean motor vehicle report. (Multiple violations can disqualify you from the position.)
• Must have good English speaking, reading, writing, and communication skills
• Must be able to lift up to 200 lbs, Team Lift, with assistance from Driver Helper
• Need to go through the JJ Keller and DOT process
• DOT Medical card (Preferred not Mandatory)
• Must accept calls and Text from the company and reply to them.
