Senior Federal DevOps Engineer job at KPMG Washington DC, US

Job Description

Salary: $66,000 - 106,000 per year Requirements:

We are looking for a minimum of three years of experience in DevOps, platform engineering, or infrastructure automation.
A bachelors degree from an accredited college or university is required.
We need proficiency with CI/CD tools and version control workflows such as Git, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
Experience with infrastructure as code technologies such as Terraform or CloudFormation is expected.
Strong hands-on experience in Linux/Unix environments and AWS services is required.
Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools such as Docker, ECS, or Kubernetes is preferred.
Ability to travel as needed to support our firm engagements is required.
Applicants must possess or be eligible for a U.S. Government clearance.

Responsibilities:

We build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to support automated build, test, and deployment processes.
We manage infrastructure as code and environment configurations across development, test, and production environments.
We implement monitoring, logging, and alerting to help ensure platform reliability.
We support security hardening and remediation efforts in coordination with the ATO workstream.
